After much lagging and an hours-late departure, we head straight to a high profile and killer bowl, one that we hit last week. The rain from earlier in the week had all evaporated, and the pool just needed a minor sweep. On roads with decent traffic, we were exposed on the North and West sides to cars and pedestrians. Nothing to do but barge for 15 minutes and split. Smooth surface, good tile lip, nice right side death box, killer shallow pocket. We decided to push our luck and stay for 20, but the same nosy neighbor from last time pushed us out. We made a clean getaway.
Evidence mounts.
Joe Dirt gets a FSG over the death (although I didn't know he got a little help from his hand on this one.
Next to a slightly lower profile pool that required a high profile, commando style raid through back yards. We made it there pretty well, and cleaned up the dirt. To the East, a neighbor had some loud music going -- I though that would save us as he wouldn't hear us skate. Nope. We each got one run, and then the neighbor showed his face, got supe pissed, didn't say anything, and stormed off. We had to bail. Hoss and I took another run and got grinds. We figured the guy might call it in as a robbery since he just glimpsed us and might not have known we were skating, and the cops would get there more quickly with guns drawn, so we got the fuck out.
Another Master Pools, and I don't know why this thing is loading some photos sideways.
More evidence.
Third pool we went to was another one close to home. The neighbors were watching us scope it over the fence, so I approached and said we were there to clean the stagnant water, but didn't have keys for the gate. "Have you noticed more mosquitoes around at night?" I asked. Of course they had. "Why don't you just jump the fence?" she answered. So we did. No time to ride, but a buttery left side wall. They had drilled holes in the flat -- they do this for when they plan to fill them in so that the water will drain and not collect. They never filled it, however, and there were plants growing through the holes. We'll come back for this one.
Got the starter fixed in Meg's SR250. Was ready to put this engine cover back on when I noticed that it's also got the oil filter, so I might as well wait and get them both done at the same time.
