CB350F Getting There

Rigged up the front end with clip-ons after shaving an inch or so from the headlight ears -- thanks for the idea Lee! Trimmed a little off the CB360 fender, will shape more in the future. The stock 350F fender was immaculate, I am going to switch it out for the one on my stocker. New rubber up front. Found some shorter 35mm pods to replace the ones I made -- they would've worked, but a little ghetto. Wired the stock switches through the clip-ons, into the headlight ears, and into the headlight bucket (bucket, light, and speedo from a 1965 CB160). Removed turn signals -- I will plug up the switch on the handlebar control. Reconnected all wiring, and then replaced the starter button with one from another unit. Switched on the key, and miracle of miracles, everything worked! Need to finish fabricating the tail section (that'll be from the tank sitting at the rear of the frame), hide some electrical stuff under the seat pan and battery in the bump, get a new rear wheel, and I'm in bidness. Further work includes trimming up the triple tree handlebar mounts, adding a tachometer, powder coating frame, painting a few bits and pieces, finalizing exhaust, and getting tank and seat bump taken care of. Was going to chrome them, but might leave them with a copper plated finish? We'll see...
