Every year, try to go to the state fair's demolition derby. This time, all of the action was on one day, and the place was packed. Got there 45 minutes early and still hard to get good seats, but we managed. Since beers are $8, I snuck in a flask of rum, and since I had teetotalers sitting on either side of me, I downed it all myself. Funny to see it start when the sun is still up.

The finals were insane. About 25 cars going at it. Lasted a good half an hour. Crunching metal, exhaust fumes, flames and smoke.
Shrigley was hyped.
